Jackie van Zyl
NBI practitioner

Hi!
My name is Jackie. I am the blessed wife of a wonderful husband and mom of three awesome children.

The first time I ever did my own NBI Brain Profile was through a life coach in one of my pilates classes many years ago. Although I found it very fascinating, nothing more came of dr Neethling's assessment tools at that time in my life.

Fast forward to 2020, COVID hit.
Although those were tough times, a wonderful opportunity arose for me to do the NBI training myself - to actually become a practitioner myself - and I just knew that I had to do it or live with the regret of having let the opportunity pass me by.

So I did it.
And the rest, as they say, is history future!! :)

Let me just pause and put my hand up here - I don't believe that any one system can ever fully explain the complexities of being human; our thoughts and behaviours,
BUT
NBI is a great and objective lens to look through when needing help in understanding our (and others') preferences in thinking and behaviour.

In short, the NBI profiles are wonderfully dynamic tools to help parents and children relate, to help understand and diffuse frustrations and conflicts in various relationships, to help students make choices about subjects and young adults choices about careers.
It guides us in understanding ourselves better and helps us to reach our full potential.

It just never gets old to be part of an eye opening moment, to hear a parent say "I wish I had known that before" or the twinkle in the eye of a student who has found what he want so go study.
It is an amazing and a wonderful privilege to be part of this discovery process!
