An NBI Brain profile is a questionnaire a person completes that gives insight into the individual’s thinking preference.
The report contains, amongst other things, a circle diagram which is a visual representations of the 4 quadrants NBI divides thinking preferences into. (Each quadrant is also divided into 2 dimensions but I’m not going into so much detail now.)

In one quadrant facts, focus and eliminating grey areas are paramount, while in another, an orderly approach, hands-on methods and schedules are important.
In yet another, an inclusive environment, connecting with people and co-operation are top of mind, while in the fourth quadrant, focus on creating new, out-of-the-box ideas, strategizing about the future and connecting different ideas are key.

We are always combinations of the different quadrants and an understanding how they interplay gives us better understanding of ourselves, grace when interacting with people (especially when realizing someone may just be operating from a different quadrant) and vision to make better decisions that fuels our future direction.
